How check inkjet level on MG6320

boogiesan

I am trying to figure out how to check my inkjet levels on my Canon MG6320 directly on the printer window rather than having to go into the PC control panel and the utilities etc.  Is it possible?

Hi boogiesan,

To check the ink status directly from the device:

  1. Select Setup from the HOME screen.
  2. Tap Estimated ink levels.
  3. Here you will see a general indication of the remaining ink in your tanks.
If you see a yellow !, then the ink is running low.  A red X, the ink is out.

Thanks so much. That did it.

I purchased genuine Canon ink cartridges but my mg6320 is still indicating that I'm out of ink for those two cartridges.

How can I either orderride or reset these ink levels?

Hi writnsew,

To try and resolve the issue, please take the ink tanks out, turn the printer off, then turn it back on, and place the ink tanks back in the printer. This should then update the ink levels accurately. Alternatively, if you have an cartridge that is actually empty, you can try to put it in the printer so that it recognizes the empty tank and provides the ink tank empty warning. You would then replace that ink tank with the new ink tank and the printer should determine that it was replaced and provide a full ink level indication again.

Hope this helps!
