Hi, I have an ip6600D printer and am getting an error message 6500 which I am unable to resolve

Re the above, I have tried the usual method of switching off, waiting for +/- 30 minutes and switching on again. the printer is locked up and my hair is getting thinner by the minute. Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks John, but now I'm a little depressed as it looks like either the logic board must be replaced (which is going to be rather difficult here in darkest South Africa) or else the printer may have reached its end of life, which may indicate the purchase of a new machine.

Oh well, it never rains but it pours as they say.
