I've tried all posted solutions but so far none of them have worked. Just installed 2 new cartridges purchased from Canon and keep receiving this error message.

The 1485 error is an indication that an incorrect ink is installed.
You may view this page in the manual by clicking this link:
TR4700 series > List of Support Codes for Printer Errors > 1485
Please remove the ink cartridges and check for orange tape and remove it, if present:
Please make sure that you are using ink cartridges that are compatible.
The following are to be used in the PIXMA TR4720:
PG-275
CL-276
PG-275XL
CL-276XL
If you are using different ink cartridges, the 1485 error will appear.
If the 1485 persists, your PIXMA TR4720 may require service. If your PIXMA TR4720 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

Once logged in, click on your product and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.
If your PIXMA TR4720 is out of warranty, you are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
