Driver won't connect to printer, and customer service refuses my call!

I registered the product. My phone number is up to date and I waited 24 hours for their system to update....they state I can't connect to customer service because my phone number is not on file (IT IS). Unbelievable.

The printer has been used ONCE and was successfully installed on another laptop using the CD. Now when I try to download the driver it completes the process but stalls out when trying to detect the printer. It is a PIXMA MG2520.

Crappy service, crappy product. Canon if you are reading this contact me before I blast ya on social media. Thx.

Hello,

That error would usually point to a problem with the USB cable connection or a problem with the driver install seeing the correct device options.

We would be happy to assist with the issue. To provide some feedback or some troubleshooting steps, we would need some additional information. If you could reply to this message with the information below, we can provide some assistance.

  1. What version of the Mac or Windows operating system are you using on your computer?
  2. Was the USB cable connected to the computer before the software installation prompted the cable connection?
