Canon IP8720 blinks white three times, and then turns off

Hello! My two-month old 8720 printer is having problems. When I turn it on, it blinks white three times, and then turns off. I've unplugged it for 15ish minutes, but it keeps doing this. Any ideas on how to fix this?
