What is MFmanager.app? It is always running after start-up, why???

Hi, What is MFmanager.app for? It is always running after startup and sometimes consuming a lot of disk-IO. I have installed the Canon utilities but never use it. I use Lightroom and Photoshop instead. Regards, Murk
