SX50 HS Firmware for Language Removal

I purchased an SX50 camera, and it supports multiple languages. I'd like to remove all languages except for English. To do this, I need the firmware. Can anyone provide it to me?

Greetings,

Lets put this to rest.

Cameras intended for sale in the US do not come with a single language firmware version.

This is not an option or something Canon offers.

I have read that some cameras produced and intended for sale in Japan do come in a 2-3 language version.  This is embedded in the hardware and even if you flash a different version of FW, only the 2-3 languages are selectable.

There is no single language version firmware available.  Once you select a language, all of the camera menus will (only) display in the language set.  If you are being continually prompted to select a language as Bob mentioned, your camera will likely require service.

Hope this answers your question.

Canon doesn't have one for that purpose.

Are you sure?

If yes, am I able to remove a specific language from it?

I said they do not provide such a firmware update to only have English. Maybe you could pay someone to custom program a firmware, just for you.

You're not getting it. There IS NO special firmware to remove  languages from the Language menu.

If your camera keeps asking you to select a language, then it needs to be serviced. It shouldn't do that.

Is there a firmware version available with only 2-3 languages for the SX50?

I'm now wondering if this is even a legit thread.   I believe there was one other strange "remove languages" thread where the poster in that also mentioned removing Korean.  I find it highly unlikely that two separate users would start a thread by asking about removing all but English, and then later specifically requesting Korean to be removed.

I can longer find that other thread, so perhaps it got purged (possibly was a case where OP later posted suspicious links in it).

Can I remove Korean from the language list?

No. Period.
