Image transfer utility 2 will not open

Image transfer Utility 2 will not open.  Does anyone have a fix? It has always worked perfectly until the last couple of weeks.  Thanks

Hopefully, we can figure it out.  But first, you will need to provide a little more details about your setup and what is happening, or NOT happening.  Help someone to help you.  Try to provide enough information and details about what you doing and seeing so that someone can reproduce your issue.  For example,

• What type of camera are you using?
• What type of computer of mobile device are you trying to connect?
• What is the OS of the computer or mobile device you are using?
• Are you connecting wirelessly or with a USB cable?
• If USB, have you tried a different cable or USB port?

The camera is Canon PowerShot SX70HS, connecting by wireless to desktop computer, Windows 10 Home OS, version 21H2.

I do not have that particular model.  I believe that ITU does not automatically launch itself for a wireless connection.  You would need to start it manually.  It should launch when you connect with a USB.data cable and then turn on the camera.

Same issue here. Image Transfer Utility 2 will not launch on Mac after update to Mac OS 12.6. 
And yes, Image Transfer normally launches without connecting a USB cable. It is a wireless image transfer utility. I looked on App Store to reinstall and the Canon Image Transfer is not on the App Store and I cannot find a download on the Canon site. Does anyone have input that might help?
