EOS Utility 3 Lens checked and grayed out

I have the latest version of this utility. I want to register the lens aberration correction data. When I opened this option I want to register only the lenses that I own. However there are lots and lots of lenses that have been checked and grayed out so that I cannot uncheck them. I've used this utility before and I was able check only the lenses that I own.

As you can see by the attachment the first lens can be checked and unchecked by the other lenses are checked and greyed out...

What is the reason for have so many lenses pre-checked without the ability to uncheck them?

Is this a new to you camera? Do you have a lot of special settings? If not, try resetting camera to factory.

The camera is new to me. I reset the camera to factory with CPS on the line and no change.

Let's see if we can't get this resolved.

You have to have a camera connected to open the Lens Registration Tool.  However, it can be opened from DPP without having a camera connected.  Press the Lens Data Button.

Tool will check for updates and open.  See next image, Note: 5/2/2025 (Current lens catalog available)

Press the Destination folder button.  Note the path. (example)

Close the registration tool, EOS Utility, DPP, and the quick launch icon running in your system tray if you don't have it set to run on demand.

Now open this folder

Move the Lens Registration data to another folder (maybe one on your desktop).  Run the Lens Registration Tool again.  Select only those lenses you own.  See if this works before connecting your camera again.  If good, reconnect the camera and let us know the result.

We've just arrived home from our trip. It'll be a couple of days before I can get to this. We have to unpack the car and put everything away and take care of laundry as well.
