EOS Utility 3 Does Not Run

fstopJerry
Apprentice

I'm running Windows 64 bit. When I try to launch Utility 3, all I get is a screen with no options.  I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. I'm trying to register lens aberration correction data in the camera. I've connected my 5Dsr to the computer with the USB cable. Where do I go from here?No Utility 3 OptionsNo Utility 3 Options

I am traveling and don’t have access to my computer, so I can’t post a screen shot. Go into your applications folder and find the Canon Utilities folder and the EOS Utility. Select EOS Utility 3 app directly and double click to run.

Thank you. I found it. It works.

It is NOT there to click. Only the readme. TYPICAL CANON SOFTWARE. Trash...

Jerry,

I leave my camera off. I launch EOS Utility first and I get the same screen you do.

Then I turn my camera on.

Either you didn't install the software correctly or you are not using the correct folder.

Greetings,

It's definitely there.  If it's not for you then the EOS utility is not properly installed on your system or you're looking in the wrong folder as John suggests.
