In Tv Mode and in Manual Mode, the user sets the shutter speed and it stays that way until you change it.
If the camera is changing the shutter speed, you must be in a different Mode like Av or P.

This line puzzles me. It's too low to be a defensive position of any kind; and it's too tall to mark a property line. I can't figure out what purpose it serves, but a lot of effort went in to building it. It's odd.
