Can't get video from EOS R5 Mark II to show EXIF data in DPP4

Cannot get video from EOS R5 MkII to display EXIF data in DPP4.19.10.0:  EOS R5 model works just fine.

Using MediaInfo App the MetaData for the Mark II shows a Format of XFVC and Codec ID of "XFVC (XFVC/mp42/iso2)" under the General Heading at the top of the list of MetaData.  in the EOS R5 video file this information reads MPEG-4 for Format and Codec ID is mp42 (mp42/avc1/CAEP).  It has an additional field called Format Profile with a value of Base Media / Version 2.

There does not seem to any video settings in the menus to change that Format value from XFVC to MPEG-4 which might resolve the issues.

Any ideas?

Bill

Greetings PhuDorje,

The EOS R5 Mark II can record in the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec instead of H.265/HEVC, but it requires for the camera to be set to shoot in the XF-AVC S YCC420 8bit or the XF-AVC S YCC422 10bit format. You may click on the following link to view more information about changing the recording format for video shooting:

Digital Photo Professional 4 may play certain video formats, but it may not always display EXIF data for video files. We recommend on using a video editor or video player application to view this type of information.
