I am looking for the default ISO for my VIXIA HF G70 when the gain is set to 0dB.
I am **totally** guessing at 800, but this is a totally wild guess. I need a *real* number.
None of the specifications, manuals and so on give any clue.

Hello Atimwak,
I can understand your question. That information is not something published by Canon or readily available. I will see if I can get more information on that for you.

I suggest you measure it yourself. If you don't have a light meter, use the sunny f/16 rule with an 18% grey card.

I do not know the ISO. It is a video camera with a FIXED 1/30 shutter speed. From what I can see, this rule cannot be applied to this situation.

Thank you! I will look forward to hearing what you discover. I spent a lot of time looking without success. It is too bad the Canon company is living behind a brick wall and cannot be asked directly.

Still no answer. No information. Why would Canon not make this sort of information readily available?
