5D MKIV Shutter sounds slow regardless of speed setting

 I've posted this question before but I'm going to try again.  I have the 5D MKIII and MKIV and the shutter speed on both sounds "slow".  I don't have mirror lock-up enabled.  I feel sure there's another setting somewhere that ought to be changed.......

GreetingsI recently purchased the MKiv and seem to be struggling with the shutter.  It always sounds slow, now matter what shutter speed I set. Anyone have any idea what is going on?Thanks

AF Point keeps jumping back to the centre

I really hope someone can help me.  I manually select an AF point, use the back-button focus, and as soon as i press the shutter release, it jumps back to the centre point.  I'm tearing my hair out as I need to use my camera tomorrow and I don't know...
