Does Canon have software which can use the automatic document feeder to scan both sides of a document comprising several pages? If not, can anyone here recommend a proper solution to this need?
I have scangearmp2 successfully running on Fedora Linux 41 and working with both MG3600 and TR7200 printer. The program does not report its version but a scan of the binary leads me to think it is version 3.40. Although the program works and successf...
My TR7020 has SNMP enabled but won't respond to a simple query. So far as I can tell, there is no way to change the community name from "public".# nmap -sU jprint -p161161/udp open snmpMAC Address: 6C:3C:7C:1A:17:C4 (Canon)# snmpwalk -v2c -cpublic jp...
Online interactive help has its place and may be useful in some cases. But I want a real manual when I pay for a product. The TR7020A support page lists "Downloads" but the links go to online help, not anything than can be downloaded. Where I can I g...
Following manual instructions (page 145), press WIFI until ON flashes, the press WIFI again. Printer seems to print two pages but both are completely blank. Printing from my web browser works fine. Printer is connected by USB.
I'm using Linux but I have Windows available. I didn't specify because either would solve my problem.I'm fairly certain that the TR7000 ADF can flip pages. So why no software to use that feature?
And I reiterate: this is NOT a Linux question. Here is output from Windows showing the same problem.snmpwalk -v:2c -c:public -r:192.168.44.171 -os:.1.3%Failed to get value of SNMP variable. Timeout. This is about the printer. Why won't it respond to S...
This is definitely NOT a developer question; I have no interest in modifying the printer. And although I use Linux, this is not a Linux question, either. I'd just like a simple answer to how to make SNMP work. The printer claims to have it and the se...
