Godox and Canon speedlites ARE NOT cross compatible. They use different communication.
Bodies: EOS 5D Mark IV
Lenses: EF Holy Trinity, EF 85mm F/1.8 USM
Speedlites: 420EX, 470EX-AI, 550EX & 600EX II-RT

Probably the least expensive route to get this to work is to get either the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E10 for your camera or get a Godox Speedlite.
You have two devices that communicate over radio even using the same frequency, but one uses "Godox language", the other uses "Canon language". It would be like an Italian trying to communicate with a Finn - they can both speak, but neither will understand the other. While the Godox trigger might be the Canon version, that only deals with how it communicates with the camera, not how it communicates with the flash.
