Spring Flowers

In Kern County (Bakersfield California) we go from a month of winter immediately into a month and a half of spring and then back to summer--April can be hot. We had tule fog the week before last and now it's Spring. These are some shots and certainly not prize winning photographs.

Lee,

They're good.

Steve Thomas

Thank you for your kind response. I like how they look too, but for me they fall into more of the "documentation" pile rather than my "masterworks" pile. I hope you see my eyes rolled as I say "masterworks". If I were really going to go after photographing them and actually trying, I'd have used a tripod etc. The flowers were out, so I loaded up my Pentax MX and my Nikon FM and headed out with my R8 for immediate gratification. I used to shoot a lot of flowers and plants. Again, thanks.
