brown-throated sloths

found these fellows in panama - their slow movement isn't just physiological, it's also psychological, making them extremely difficult to spot in trees (the trick is looking for the claws!)

She said, "If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for a moment."  I have always found that to be true.  This rosebay rhododendron and its attendants in Pisgah National forest North Carolina mesmerized me.  EOS R5, EF...

More from this troop at Red Frog Beach, Panama  Mama didn't do me any favors by staying in the shade and behind lots of leaves, but I still managed to grab these shots.  I locked eyes with Jr. just long enough to capture it....then he lost interest!
