Somewhere Cool (Temp wise)

Some photos to take my mind off the 100+ heat index temps here in Austin.  These were taken somewhere in the Manhattan and Bozeman area in Montana.

JPS,

Well, you know what the locals say.

In Montana, you have two seasons. Niine months of winter and three months of guests.

I lived in Bozeman for three years. I loved it.

Yes. Part of my family has been in Bozeman since the late '70s. It's one of my favorite places on earth.

The sky in that second photo is absolutely gorgeous!  Love the wide-angle view in that one, too!

Thanks Danny.  I waited about 30 minutes or so to try to catch the setting sun behind it.  According to the app I was using, there should have been numerous high clouds, but nature had other intentions.  I also tried to compose it with opposite leading lines using the barb wire and the footsteps in the snow.  That particular building is a fully functional church called the Old Sedan Church, the Gallatin Range is in the background.  Here are a couple more shots:Old Sedan ChurchOld Sedan ChurchChurch-2.jpg

I will second the positive review on the wide angle images.
