Driver for Image Formula RS40 on Mac Tahoe 26

I am running Mac OS Tahoe 26.1 and cannot use my scanner after the update.  When I try to use it I get this error message: 

“CaptureOnTouch” is damaged and can’t be opened.

Does anyone know if there is a work around or updated driver that can patch this problem.

I have the same problem. Just bought it and wish I knew Canon doesn't know how to fix it???!!!

For this type of issue, please call our Imaging Solutions Group at 1-800-423-2366, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays).  I understand that the forum may be your preferred method of communication; however, these steps need to be provided by phone with a technician assisting you through it.

1.       Call our Imaging Solutions Group
2.       Wait until you are asked to select a product. When you get that prompt, press 1.
3.       When you get the second prompt, press 2.

Following these steps will get you to the appropriate technician faster.

I called the support line at 800-423-2366 and they got it to work. I had too many apps opened so there wasn't enough memory for the driver to install. Try force quitting everything then install the app and the driver. If that doesn't work I called the above 800 number and only waited about 5 minutes to get support.
