Six years or so ago I used a Canoscan 5600f to scan 1000 35 mm slides. Now MP Navigator 2.0 won’t open. The message is it needs to be updated. I understand the scanner has been retired. Is there a version of MP Navigator I can download to access the scans I’ve already done?
Macbook Air, 2020, running Ventura, macOS13.
Thank you for helping. John

Hi, spiderkeeper!
The last version of MP Navigator made for the CanoScan 5600F was for macOS Mojave, which is most likely not compatible with your 2020 MacBook Air. You can find it on the product's page HERE or download it directly HERE.
On the product page, you'll need to manually select macOS Mojave for the software to populate:

I don't have an answer for the availability of an updated MP version for your scanner, but if you can't find one you may want to look into VueScan by Hamrick Software.

Thank you. I will try this. Using the scanner is not important to me, but I’d like to access the slides I already scanned.
