I have a windows 11 HP laptop. I purchased a new LIDE 300 scanner. The installation fails at 3 during the scan gear section of install. Software indicated installation failure. Click back to top and restart set up.YES id did fo;;ow directions and restart set up but with same results.
I will be sending this back pending support assistance. Any help would be appreciated. I tried CD ROM as well as software download from Canon site. Both failed.
