PIXMA G4020 Wont complete printer setup

The app gets to a point where it says: 
"Printer Connection Please wait until installation is complete. This may take some time"

And then stops there.  Waited 24 hours and still nothing happens.

The Canon Quick Menu does not list the any "Print" info

Are you trying to connect your printer to wifi using the Canon Print App?

The G4020 supports dual band wireless 2.4 / 5G and WPA2/WPA3 encryption.

At thus time I am only trying to connect through the USB port.   If I can get through this step I was then planning on a WiFi connection.

  I am using the G4010 series Full Driver & Software Package (Windows) from the Canon web site

As a reminder when doing a fresh install do not attach the USB until the installation program prompts to do so.
