Hello forum,
I keep getting this annoying double feed error every time I attempt to scan an ID, Business card or Credit Card.
I have tried to make sure the cards are not to slippery with the plastic covering etc.. When I first bought this unit, they claim to be able to scan these types of items. But this double feed error is driving me crazy! I see nothing in the software that allows me to turn off this feature. At least, not the software I am using. And I do have the latest update. In fact, the settings for this software is very vague, hardly anything with serious controls to turn anything off or on.
I am using Windows 11, CatureOneTouch V4 Standard, Version 4.14.1024.1128 software.
Are perhaps the cards too shiny or something?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
AJ

Ok, just in case someone has the same issue I encountered with scanning credit cards or other similar cards and getting the double feed error, I will add that this error may happen in other scanning documents as well; Enable the Advanced Settings Dialog Box within the scanning settings, select the Feeding Tab, and then Uncheck the 'Detect By Ultrasonic' box.
This appears to have solved the annoying double feed error I kept getting when attempting to scan Cards etc. Now, I do understand that this feature can be very useful when scanning, however, if you are scanning something that triggers this Double Feed Error, and you know that it is not Double Feeding, then I would suggest using thgis method to get your work done without false Double Feed errors.
I hope this helps someone.. Thanks for reading.
