Canon CanoScan Lide 400 only scans showing white image not photo on macOS Sequoia 15.3.2

I followed the set up instructions from the manual however on Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite whenever I click photo (or any of the options) it only scans and gives me a plain white image instead of the photo in the scanner. Does anyone please have any advice on how to fix this issue? Thank you.

There is no driver listed for that device on the macOS 15 section of the support site. 

There is a driver for macOS 14; you could try that. If that doesn't work then the device isn't compatible with macOS 15. There is a pay option; you could try VueScan by Hamrick Software.
