CanoScan LiDE 30 - First Time Setup

Need help with setting up my Cano LIDE30 for the FIRST TIME--yes I found in the closet and have no clue....

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. It sounds like you're aware of this but the CanoScan LiDE 30 is an older model from 2002 which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
