I have a cannon video recorder VR-40 and a cannon VC-30 camera, and I am trying to watch old videos on the viewfinder of the camera. Can't seem to figure how are there any instruction any place to help me.
Thanks
Bob

Wouldn't the camera only have video/audio outputs? From finding images of the VR-40, it does have a composite (RCA) video output and what appears to be a mini phone jack (mono? stereo?) that you could probably use a mini jack to mono/stereo RCA audio cable. Then, hook up to an older TV, receiver, etc. that would have composite inputs.

Can I connect my VT50/VR40 recorder to a tv by just using a coax cable or are more cables required.
