Dear Canon Marketing,
This is just another complaint in a very long list of complaints regarding the lack of either wireless or wired control capability for the EOS R5c. The R5c is a Hybrid camera and not a true cinema camera, yet it does not have any of the video control that the R5 or C series cameras have.
Everyone blames engineering, yet we all know that marketing makes the functionality decisions. On behalf of what I am sure are millions of users that bought Sony instead of Canon because of this, please either make the USB C more functionable or enable the internal WiFi/Bluetooth capability of the photo function.
Putting this off to a new camera will not solve anything other than moving a lot of R5c's to the secondary market so people can buy Sony products.
