Canon C80 and USB control with Remote Camera Control App

I had read that with the latest FW 1.0.6.1 for the C80 - we are now able to use USB-C to control the camera with the Remote Camera Control App ver 1.4.

However, there doesn't seem to be any way to make the C80 recognisable or registered into the Remote Cam App.

Has anyone else tried this?

TIA.

In this video we show you how to connect your Canon C80 Cinema Camera to the Canon Multi-Camera Control App. This app also works with other EOS cameras. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe. More info from Canon: The free Canon Multi-Camera Control App can control multiple Cinema EOS ...

Thanks Rick, I think I have seen this video but I am really after how the new firmware is supposed to be able to use Usb C.

but yes, the Usb unfortunately is only for the Mac application. I wish they would also bring it into iOS. It shouldn’t be that hard at all
