I did it like in the you to tutorial an try to connect my two canon PTZ with my canon RC-IP100.
Now I could control my PTZ with the RC-IP100 but I can't find the PTZ with the Camera search tool. I can not reach the admin surface via browser on my Laptop. All depents from the manual IP setting.

Did anyone have the same problem or a solution to fix this?

Hi Matthias-GER,

Thanks for checking in with us.

To help us get a better sense of your setup, please elaborate on the following:
How are you connecting to each camera?
What are the IP addresses and subnet masks you are using for the cameras and the controller?
What operating system is your laptop running?

Hi Nick2020,

I have two Canon CR-N300s, a Canon RC-IP100 and a Canon XA45 camcorder. All four are brand new and fresh out of the box.

I want to set up a live streaming setup. I have set these up with a Blackmagic Video Switch ATEM mini pro and an external monitor. Later I will equip them with an ATEM SDI video switcher.

I am also using my Lenovo laptop - Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit. I also have a simple network switch to connect the two CR-N300s to the RC-IP100 and my laptop. As described in the YouTube video. One difference from the video is that I don't have an IPV6 address, but I have this default IPV4 address and AutoIP that is shown in Camera Search Tool.

In the first step, the Camera Search Tool shows me two CR-N300s with the same IPv4 address 192.168.100.1. With AutoIP, I was able to reach the Init page as described in the YouTube video.

Currently I have set the IP address manually two times.
RC-IP100 = 192.168.100.10 Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
1st CR-N300 = 192.168.100.20 Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
2. CR-N300 = 192.168.100.1 no change so far

The situation is that I could control the first CR-N300 with the RC-IP100, but I could not reach this page Admin Page http://192.168.100.20/admin/.

On the second CR-N300, where I did not change the IP to a manual IP, I could reach the Admin Page without any problems. AutoIP as follows.
http://169.254.157.103/admin/image-detail

By the way, the Remote Camera Settings Guide is not available in German. I could not find the download for the Remote Camera Control Application.

Link as follows.

It's quite unpopular 🙂 to answer one of my own questions, but I found the Remote Camera Control Application on the UK website.
Here is the link, I'm wondering why it is not available on the German website, not even in English.

Hi Matthias-GER,

Thanks for your reply.

As you may have noticed, this is the forum page for Canon USA. The apps available in different regions will vary based on applicable laws. Some countries limit wireless and live-stream capabilities

In regards to your prior message, I'm not seeing any issues with your IP addresses or your general setup, although it might be an issue with IPv4 and/or your regional limitation.

The forum support we offer here is mostly for our community to share suggestions with each other, and the forum support we provide is limited. Since that's the case, I suggest that you call our dedicated support line and speak to a PTZ camera networking specialist.

I would recommend that you check in with Canon Germany for details about what setups work best in your region.

Here's a translated version of their contact page:

If the link doesn't work, try to copy and paste it into your browser.
