Pixma Pro 100 and Lightroom/Photoshop CC

After installing everything, I tried to use Canon Print Studio Pro.  I tried in LR following the instructions (Plug in extras) but the Canon program doesn't show up in the menu.  So I tried it in Photoshop CC (Automate) but the same thing there; the Canon plugin doesn't show up.  What am I missing?

Hi John,
I must have a problem/virus with my computer. I could not open the link. I'll let you know when I resolve this. Thanks

For some of the Canon papers it is difficult to tell the print side, there is no watermark on the paper and the packaging doesn't tell how paper is positioned in package.

A trick is to wet a finger tip and touch a corner of the paper. Print side will be tacky.

Good tip!  I got a 50 pack of 13X19 Canon sem-gloss plus and the requisite Pro Luster 8.5X11 sample pack.  I also just received a sample pack from Red River.  I've been using Red River's matte greeting cards and really like the results on my less expensive but not bad Pixma MX922.  For that sort of printing, it does nicely.

Google "Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool" and try to run that.

Hi John,

I am still unable to uninstall PSP. I tried all your suggestions with no luck. The winfixit could not find the PSP program and now the fixit is not upgraded for Win 10. I even upgraded to Win 10 (free) thinking there was a problem with Win 7 but I still get the same "cannot find uninstallition info file" when I try to install PSP. I tried downloading from Canon PSP v 2.0 and it goes through the motions and then stops and does not load. There are some free uninstall programs on the web but I am leary about them. I'm at wits end and I may have to fork over some big bucks for an expert to fix this. Maybe some one has more info to help me.

Before you spend any money, decide if you really need PSP. Since you have Lightroom, printing is quite easy from LR.

If you are printing OK from LR then you are all set. If you're just trying to set up printing in LR, Google "Jose Rodriquez Pro-100". He has great YouTube videos that will help you.

I upgraded to W10, saw no benefit, had some problems, and reverted back to W7 within the 30 day window.

Hi John,

Well I finally got PSP to download. As you know I could not uninstall the program no matter what  I tried. A friend suggested that I use "REVO Uninstaller" which I did and it removed the original PSP and I went to Canon and downloaded PSP V2 successfully. Lightroom now opens PSP.  We concluded something happened during the original installation that all of the required files were not installed properly which caused the problem.

Thanks again.
