Pixma Pro 100 Can't Print Black Images Well

Hi there. Thanks in advance for any help!

My printers works great except when I try to print an image with large black areas. For example, thre are large rectangular streaks on it as shown in this image. I have tried adjusting my designs to have less detail but they still end up like this. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Have you printed the nozzle check pattern?
