Pixma PRO-200S. Does printing A3+ borderless contributes really a lot to the system counter of absorber, or it's quite minor and I can print a lot of borderless A3+ without fear? Google AI said that it's minor compared to small cleaning cycles, but we know that AI is lying a lot 🙂 So I wanted to ask here.
And 2nd question - in case if it fills counter a lot, will leaving 0.5 cm of empty space on each side be enough to prevent triggering that counter?

I am not a Canon employee or a printer expert, but I believe the absorber that is monitored is at the storage location at end of travel. The ink pads at the borderless location positions are just to keep ink from getting around the interior of the printer. That is why borderless can only be used at certain paper sizes. I know for my Pro-100 borderless cannot be used for custom paper sizes.
