How often to turn on imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 if I don't use it everyday?

I've a canon pro-1100 printer. I do not use the printer every day, is it best to turn on the pro-1100 once every day for 15 to 30 min or once a month turn the printer on. I might go a month without printing a photo.

Canon Pro printers should be turned on and used at least once a month to prevent ink from drying and clogging the print heads. For optimal maintenance, a weekly print or nozzle check is recommended.
