PIXMA PRO-200 Cover Removal Procedure

What is the procedure to remove the cover from the pixma pro-200 printer? the print head holder has nylon guides that have fallen off due to improper shipping.

Is it a new printer? Return to sender as defective product?

not new..has about 30 pages use.. my fault, transported without taping down print head and looks like it got upside down. I think I can fix if I can get the cover off

Give canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON and see if they can assist.

appears that canon only gives support during normal (M-F) hours... try again on monday am...

Called canon tech support, the printer is out of warranty so a replacement is not available. The tech gave me the number for the "upgrade program", called this am and found out that the cost is list minus 10% plus tax, shipping is free and I don't have to return the printer. So, bottom line.. still looking for how to remove the cover, i really think I can fix it if I can get the cover off,,, anybody know how that is done?

Hi, Wondering if you were able tog figure this out? Have the same exact issue and seems like it would be simple to put plastic piece back in place with some info. Please let me know, Thank you

no solution, ended up simply buying another pixma-200 printer from best buy...

Thank you for the quick reply. It's sad to see good printers go to waste over a minor repair that could likely be done with some info. Im thinking of trying to just tinker with it. Did you attempt to disassemble it at all or end up having to just dispose of it. Thank you again
