Some printers must be powered on all the time to be operational? Does the Pro-100 fall into this catagory?

If a Pro-100 is connected by USB you can power it off when finished printing and power back on when you want to print.
Recommeded operation ion is to turn it on with power button and then set auto power off in the printer driver. Then when you go to print it will automatically wake up and print.
If if you connect printer via wifi it remains on all the time.

Thank you kind sir.
I am connected wirelessly. May I manually power off the Pro-100? the last time i did this the pring was totally liquid. Had to print a plain paper print to suck up the extra ink.
Second thought. How about by LAN? (Ethernet)

You can shut it off manually, but then you need to turn it on manually to print, even wirelessly.
I leave mine on all the time (been over a year now) and I don't have any problems.
