I've had the best results using the Fine Art Pearl paper (older box so not sure if it's the same as their Baryta Pearl or not) as far as getting closest to the color and density of what's showing on my monitor (caliblrated etc..). It's a little flatter, which I expect, but aside from that, happy with the "base" setting and can work from there. Media type is Heavyweight Photo Paper. Problems I'm having is using their Photo Rag paper with Media setting as High Density Fine Art Paper, which is recommended both by Canon and Hahnemuhle. Prints are much darker and colors are way off, which suprised me.
Printed also on their Baryta Satin and other variations using Heavyweight Photo Paper as the Media with pretty good results but was thrown by the Photo Rag.
What Media Types are you using for the various papers? I try and follow Hahnemuhle's suggestions but results are not always acceptable; Canon's references for third party papers seem better at times, though again, the Photo Rag / High Density Fine Art Paper was drastically off.
Suggestions?
