Creating Digital Negatives. Any experience in the community?

BDK

I am interested in cyanotype and other Alternative Photographic Processes.  All of which have been rejuvenated by the use of digital negatives in the contact printing process.  From a RAW or scanned photographic negative, a copy is made, adjusted for density etc and then printed on Overhead Transparency Film, generally made by Pictorico.  Now one has an 8 x 10 negative which can be used with an emulsion coated paper subjected to UV light.  It is a wonderful artisitc tool.  All of the instruction is designed to work with Epson printers, as setting up the negative is somewhat fiddly.  I was wondering if someone has already been doing this with the Pixma Pro series of printers, and if they can share their experience.  Thanks
