Canon pro 300 magenta cast.

Hi i recently bought a canon pro printer and when i do a standard colored test print i get a magenta cast on the print. It looks fine on the monitor. Just to clarify i do not have the monitor calibrated and i am using the lightroom colour management to select the printer and paper. I have the colour matching on the printer driver set to none. I know i need to calibrate the screen but my query is on my print module and softproffing the picture looks fine. It is only when i go to print, the printer preview picture is completely different with the magenta cast, so im wondering why is there two colour renditions on the same monitor whether its cslibrated or not.
Hope this makes sense and thank in advsne for any help

Welcome to the forum.

Try printing without using the preview.

I have never used the preview, so I have no direct proof of this, but I have read that the preview invokes the paper profile and thus overrides the setting of None in color matching.
