Boss accidentally bought gloss print paper, but I figured that might work out for our art renderings. However the ink bleeds... strangely, only on dark color tones. Image is below.
It's a Canon Pro9000 Mark II.
It seems to be dark tones that bleed only. The light gray is perfect, and even a well-saturated yellow-orange looks decent. It doesn't appear to be the saturation or amount of ink that is the problem, but the darkness of the color. Is it the printer, the paper, or the ink? Is there a solution?

Verso 18x12 White 80lb Cover Gloss Finish C/2S BlazerDigital
I got the response from someone on another forum that this paper is probably not designed for inkjet. Is this something you would confirm?

It really doesn't matter if you don't have the proper profile for the paper. Do you? If not you really can't use that paper at all. You might try to see if another profile will work but that is mostly fool's play. The correct profile is mandatory.
Most good paper suppliers provide the correct ICC profiles for their paper. Canon, Red River, Moab, Artic, etc.
EOS 1D, EOS 1D MK IIn, EOS 1D MK III, EOS 1Ds MK III, EOS 1D MK IV and EOS 1DX and many lenses.
