I am contemplating buying this printer. Based on google searching this printer can print 17X25 based on a newly released firmware upgrade. Question - Why does the Canon website specs for this printer specs state 17X22? Thanks.

Likely because the website hasn't been updated.

Personally I have not been successful in prjnting 17x22 sheets on the canon pro-1000. I've had many errors, can only print from the top feed, and have had nothing but head bumping and trouble. Wasted $40 in paper yesterday trying. Maybe I'm just lame, but I run a small print shop, so I do this all the time and haven't been successful yet with that size.

So I have a MacOS iMac and just purchased Canon Pro 1000 two weeks ago. I printed 17 X 25 with no issues with Qimage one yesterday
