Brand new Pro-300, cyan not printing

Received my new imagePROGRAF PRO-300 printer yesterday and after getting it setup last evening, it wouldn't auto align and running a nozzle check shows no cyan ink reaching the paper. I ran two deep cleaning steps with no change, waited the 24 hours as outlined in the troubleshooting guide and still no change this evening. Burned through a lot of ink, though! Suggestions?

My suggestion would be to return it and get a new unit. Sounds like a defective print head.

Hi Patrick, I'm having the same issue, brand new printer but all the colors from the left side of the print head are not printing. I'm not able to auto align the print head and the nozzle pattern comes out with M, Y, PM and R only (the colors that are on the right of the print head).

Did you ever get a response or solution for this problem?

Since you say it is brand new contact the seller for replacement before your return period expires. If it has already expired contact Canon Support.
