Canon ImagePROGRAF TA-30 quality option for photo paper is only 2 instead of 1 for the highest

Hello,

I need help figuring out how to access highest quality level for photo paper on Canon ImagePROGRAF TA-30.

No matter what I tried, the printer preferences only allow level 2 as highest setting for print quality for photo paper (glossy, luster). The option for level 1 is blank out. I can only choose level 1 for coated or matte paper. This really does bother me since I have other inkjet printer that allow highest quality level on photo paper and lower level on matte paper which is completely opposite to this situation.

Please help me! much appreciated!

Hi nitrogencity,

Certain print quality levels cannot be selected depending on the settings of the Media Type. Click HERE to review the online manual for your TA-30. Since you are able to choose level 1 for coated or matte paper but not for photo paper (glossy, luster) this means those settings are at their max on 2. I hope this is helpful.

Hello.

I can suggest you use another type of settings, one that resembles the one you use but doesn't have to be exactly the same, those are just default settings that the printer has.

The most important thing is to read well which ones work with BK and which with MBK, because this is inf

So once you find a configuration that allows you to bring the quality to the value you want, you will have earned.

You can also set the drying times and others for greater security in your printing

I hope it helps you

I had the same situation at first until I found the configurations that met my need

This printer really prints with a more than great quality.
