I have completed the downloads.
I can print, I can scan, and the printer seems to be working.
Unfortunately, in the Image Garden, the "Scan" option is not available for use and is grayed out.
I am needing this for school. This used to work on my old laptop that has since taken a dive, so the new laptop and the same printer with the same downloads that I am trying to remember what I am doing wrong is causing me mental turmoil.
So please Community, please put my mind at ease.

What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
