This is similar to others EXCEPT
I am connected using a wired ethernet connection.
I am on windows 11 version 23H2 (not 24H2)
The printer works without difficulty.
The scanner works from the printer control panel as making copies is possible.
I first installed the mastersetupv110.exe and winmfscanutilityv12102.exe as recommended on the website.
When that gave me the error message, I then installed MF750CMFDriverV7501W64.exe
But still received the same message both from both the canon scan utility as well as an application that uses a Twain driver:
Not sure what to try next.

Trying to get a better idea of what was going on:
I uninstalled all of the Canon programs. I then re-installed just mastersetupv110.exe and winmfscanutilityv12102.exe.
During the installation process of mastersetup I needed to navigate to "Printers and Scanners" and add the Canon 750C as a printer before it would run. But it then ran to completion as did the MFScan utility.
At this point, under Device manager, there show two Canon MFC750C series scanners. They have different drivers installed: Microsoft eSCL Class Driver on one; Canon MF750C Series on the other.
When I run the scan utility, it shows me Scanner: Canon MF750C ser_F8A26DF2D1F6 and that Hex number is the MAC address for the MF753, so it is seeing the correct hardware.
Maybe this information will be useful because it still doesn't work.

After trying several times, following these instructions from Dale and Bellmac solved the problem for me. The two drivers that were re-installed were the same one's that were there initially. It took a bit longer to get the TWAIN interface with my Paperport working properly, but it eventually did. So this has been solved for me, and it may not even be a 24H2 problem.

Greetings,
You are the only poster I am aware of that has recently reported a scanner communication issue with a earlier feature release prior to 24H2.
I have two Canon lasers and have been 100% successful installing only two drivers.
One is the MF scan utility v1.21.0.2
The other is the print driver that includes ScanGear. I have not used the Master setup up to this point. I only have one listing for my printer under Device Manager > Imaging Devices on all of my Windows machines. Others have also reported multiple entries . My assumption is that this was caused by people who attempted to connect the device using more than one interface. I've not reproduced this myself. Glad you were able to get your issues solved.

Perhaps the paucity of issues with versions prior to 24H2 has to do with the denominator (there not being a lot of people on prior versions installing this device). Or maybe there's something odd about my setup. I had a previous scanner that is not compatible with 24H2, so that's why my computer never updated to 24H2.
Yes, I, too, am happy I could solve it. Unhappy that it took hours to do so.
