imageCLASS MF753Cdw MF Scan Utility Cannot Communicate with scanner

I'm seeing the same issue with MF753CDW printer. Installed same drivers and scanner version as the rest of the PCs for my client and this desktop is running the most recent version of Windows 11. Getting the same error and can't figure out why.

I just found the fix that worked for me in this thread -

My Scan Utility is working now.

I called support and I was told to download the registry fix from the following link on the Canon site and it fixed the issue.  Be sure to scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page.  It's called DR_RegistryFix.exe_download.xml.  This worked for me and so far no issues.

This did the trick for me and thanks!  I was about the return it to the store.  WTF doesn't Canon include this little bit of software in all of their printer/scanner downloads...?
