I have followed every instruction out there and still cannot get this printer to stay connected to my computer. Does anyone know of a nuance i need to include in the setup. Also, am I able to get product support for a new printer without a care plan?

Im running MacOS Ventura. No error messages. Its appears to be online and idle but will not print. I want to connect to the printer wirelessly.

Greetings jrduncan49,
Whether you are connecting via cable or wirelessly, you need to use a cable for the initial set up.
The type of cable you use matters. It sounds like you are getting the printer connected, but it goes offline after a period of inactivity. This is probably related to your network. Printer installs and connects, then doesn't get used for a bit and your router reclaims its IP for use with another device. What might help. Assign a static IP address for the printer on your network. This is done on your router, and only has to be done once. This tells your router not to give the printer's IP address to another device regardless of how often you use it.
