MY PIXMA MG5520 WONT FIND MY LAPTOP

Canon Pixma MX925 Network/Wireless Scanning to Linux Box

Hello, I'd like to use Scan to function from the Printer to PC. However, I'd like the documents scanned not to be sent to a Windows PC, but instead to Linux Box (raspberry). What is the prerequiste the Printer can "find" a Linux host ? Thank you

Now when i try to AirPrint, the only option i get is 4 x 6 and there seems to be no way to change it. Is there a setting that I am not seeing? (using Yosemite w/ Yosemite.)
