MF4800dw works fine except I repeatedly have to uninstall & reinstall I'm guessing due to Windows 11 changing internal settings. Now, the Settings-Printers and Scanners-Add Device says "No Printers Found". How can I get Windows 11 to find and install my MF4800dw wirelessly?

Greetings,
Thank you very much. This is helpful. The printer supports 2.4 GHz Wireless that uses WPA-2 encryption. Please ensure your wireless network supports this broadcast and encryption standard. The printer cannot connect to a 5GHz or other broadcast. Many dual and tri-band routers use the same SSID name for all broadcast networks. This can sometimes confuse older devices. It's often helpful to give the networks unique names (example) Myhouse2.4, Myhouse5G, Myhouse7G etc, Then connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz broadcast. You can also temporarily disable the broadcast on your router other than 2.4 on making the connection, then turn them back on. These settings can be made on your router's admin portal.
Optional but suggested is assigning your printer a static IP address on your network. This is also done on your router and only has to be done once. This configuration assigns a dedicated IP address to the printer. The router will never assign this address to another device and you will always be able to find the printer on your network at this IP "destination". Once set, you can install the printer as an IP printer on your Windows 11 PC. Instead of relying on discovery or a host name, you supply the IP address and it tells your computer exactly where to find and communicate with the printer at its assigned IP.
I understand that some of these tasks can appear challenging if you're unfamiliar. That's okay, we can assist you.
