Hello. I'm trying to install drivers on my Windows 11 x86 laptop connected to my MX522 printer via a USB connection. It fails detecting the printer. I replugged the USB cable on both ends, turned printer off and on and rebooted the laptop but to no avail. I really need to use the Scan Utility that comes with the driver install. Any suggestions? I don't see a Windows 11 version of the drivers on the site but do see one for Windows 10, which is what I'm trying to install.
FWIW, my old laptop running Win 11 was working with the printer but it was probably initially running Win 10 and I then upgraded after installing the drivers.
Thank you.

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon PIXMA MX522 has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.

Same problem. Wasted money on a piece of crap. I will never purchase another Canon product again. Same issue with an Epson printer, though it is supposed to be supported. Hope HP or Brother are better.
